Job Description
Assisted Living Caregiver (Part-Time) Must be 18+ to apply Flexible Weekday & Weekend Availability Required We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to support residents in our assisted living community. This role involves assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all residents. We are currently looking to add one part-time caregiver to our team who is available to work 1st or 2nd shift during the week , as well as at least every other weekend . Weekend availability is required. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Promote resident independence while ensuring safety and well-being. Uphold residents' rights, dignity, privacy, and respect at all times. Assist with meal service while following proper food safety and hygiene practices. Encourage and engage residents in social and recreational activities. Collaborate with nursing staff and team members to provide individualized care and support. Monitor and document residents' health status and report any concerns or changes. Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living, caregiving, or senior care preferred. Knowledge of ADLs and behavior management techniques. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Basic understanding of food safety and infection control practices. CNA, CPR, and/or First Aid certification preferred.
