Job Description

Job Summary Position provides hands-off basic safety, respite, emotional support, and companionship to clients of any age to include but not limited to comprehensive home management and organization. This position would require traveling to provide companionship to clients throughout the Smoky Mountain Region (i.e. Hamblen County, Jefferson County, Sevier County, Blount County)
Pay Structure:
Starting hourly rate: $15/hr.
Qualifications:
Proven reliability and punctuality Effective communication and observation skills Positive rapport with clients of any age High school diploma/GED or equivalent 21 years of age Dependable transportation is required to meet scheduling needs across various settings. Schedule flexibility is required to meet the dynamic needs of clients. Must obligate to work at least one weekend per month as needed. On-call availability may be required to cover emergencies or immediate clients' needs. Active phone service and equipment that accommodates the latest version of current timekeeping app utilized by
FLP. MUST
be able to pass a background check Experience Prior experience in home & community care, childcare, assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or long-term care environments is highly desirable Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory care needs is preferred Knowledge of patient monitoring, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and care planning is advantageous Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards is essential Previous caregiving roles involving social work or home health services are beneficial Certification in CPR and first aid is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is expected for some roles Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary This role provides an enriching opportunity for caring professionals committed to improving the lives of others through compassionate support and dedicated caregiving.
