Job Description

Job Summary Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring personalized care in their own homes. This energetic position offers the opportunity to provide essential support with dignity, respect, and enthusiasm. You will assist clients with daily activities, monitor their well-being, and create a safe, nurturing environment that promotes independence and comfort. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations Monitor patients' vital signs, observe changes in health status, and report findings to healthcare professionals promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to safely transfer clients with mobility challenges Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Support clients during outings or appointments within the community, ensuring safety and engagement Experience Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer's and memory care), or other cognitive impairments Knowledge of patient observation techniques, patient monitoring, and dementia care strategies Experience working with residents who have complex medical needs requiring assistance with ADLs and medication management Familiarity with care plans development and implementation in compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA Hands-on experience using medical equipment like Hoyer lifts or vital signs monitors is advantageous Strong background in providing compassionate patient care within long-term or hospice settings is desirable Join us to make a meaningful impact through dedicated caregiving!
