Caregiver/Personal Assistant Personal caregiver - 4.8 Austin, TX Job Details Full-time | Contract $16 - $21 an hour 13 hours ago Benefits Paid training Paid orientation Flexible schedule Paid sick time Qualifications Medical documentation Basic math Medical scheduling Food preparation Meal assistance Full Job Description Schedule 32-40 hours per week. Available 2 x Saturdays per month (possibly more) is preferred but not required. Weekday hours are flexible and can be arranged around your schedule. Responsibilities Daily support Tutor client in basic math and reading Monitor bill payments and manage wall calendar with upcoming appointments and deadlines Schedule medical appointments and complete online pre-visit forms Coach client on iPhone use, including Google Calendar setup and maintenance Provide household reminders (vacuuming, refrigerator cleaning, etc.) Assist with applying prescription skin ointment to client's back Help client follow recipes and prepare meals at home Transportation & community Drive client to HEB every few days for groceries and prescription pickups Transport client to medical appointments and accompany during visits Drive client to local restaurants, festivals, craft fairs, museums, and other weekend activities Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (Social Security number required) Must have a reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance and proof of coverage
