Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant only for saturdays and sundays to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of daily living care. This vital role involves promoting independence, ensuring safety, and enhancing the quality of life for residents or clients in various care settings such as assisted living facilities, group homes, or home care environments. The ideal candidate will be energetic, attentive, and committed to delivering personalized care with a positive attitude. Paid positions available, including internships, with opportunities for growth and development. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for changes in condition Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans Prepare nutritious meals and assist with food intake to meet dietary needs Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning and sanitation tasks Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges Document patient observations, care activities, and any incidents accurately and promptly Requirements Prior experience in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring Certification in First Aid and CPR required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks involved in caregiving Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer's and memory care), or other special needs preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others Join us in making a meaningful difference! Pay:
