Job Description

You will be working directly with clients in recovery, as well as representing Land Manor to families, clinical staff, and the public. This role is not a fit for individuals who: Struggle to communicate clearly and professionally Are not comfortable speaking directly with clients, staff, or families Do not take personal appearance and presentation seriously Are looking for a low-responsibility or "clock in / clock out" position Applicants must be able to: Speak clearly, confidently, and respectfully Present themselves in clean, professional attire at all times, including interviews. Candidates who arrive unprepared or dressed unprofessionally will not be granted an interview. Demonstrate reliability, maturity, and sound judgment Show initiative and a desire to grow within a structured environment Interviews are part of the evaluation process. Candidates who are unable to communicate effectively or present themselves professionally will not be considered. Position Summary Recovery Advocates are responsible for the daily supervision, movement, and safety of clients in a residential treatment setting. This is a hands-on role requiring constant awareness, accountability, and interaction. Key Responsibilities Assist with client intake and orientation Ensure client safety at all times Conduct searches of personal property or individuals when necessary Obtain urine samples for drug testing Transport clients (valid driver's license required) Supervise clients on and off facility grounds Complete accurate documentation and shift notes Enforce program rules and report concerns Communicate effectively with staff during shift changes Support medication self-administration per policy Maintain professional boundaries at all times Skills & Competencies Strong verbal communication skills Ability to assess situations and respond quickly Attention to detail and accountability Professional demeanor in all interactions Basic computer skills (email, documentation, etc.) Requirements Valid Driver's License CPR & First Aid Certification (or obtain within 30 days) Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Pre-Employment Requirements Drug and alcohol screening Criminal background check (A felony conviction may disqualify applicants) What This Role Is This is a professional, responsibility-driven position working directly with individuals in recovery. Pay:
