Job Description :

Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and experienced male caregiver to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others and previous experience in caregiving roles. •

Requirements:

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred, with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
• Familiarity with incontinence care protocols, bed baths, and medication reminders.
• Personal vehicle and valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, as well as clearing a background check and motor vehicle check.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality, as well as the ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Physical ability to assist with transfers as needed
• This position requires the ability to physically assist the client with transferring in and out of a wheelchair or stationary chair.

Shift Availability:

12-hour overnight shifts available, 6pm-6am, 2-3 days per week. 12-hour daytime shifts immediately available, 6am-6pm, 2-3 days per week. On-call position, picking up 12-hour daytime or overnight shifts when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assist client with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, light meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Accompany client to appointments and outings as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Communicate effectively with the client and their family.

From $14.00 per hour
