She has Autism, epilepsy (tonic-clonic seizures approximately once every other month), and OCD that affects her daily routines. The right caregiver will be someone who brings a calm, confident presence and truly enjoys building connection. This is a long-term position with training and support provided. The family is looking for someone who is emotionally mature, committed, and excited to become part of the team. This young woman is friendly, funny, and easy to be around. She enjoys outings like Target runs, the gym, community events, and going out for meals (especially ramen!). She loves being read to, getting dressed up, and spending time with caregivers who make her feel like part of the group. While generally calm, she has moments of impulsivity—such as dashing toward something exciting in public—and needs someone vigilant who can move quickly and respond with grace. Willingness to provide support on trips to Disney, the beach and The Mayo Clinic a few times per year would be a plus. The family has a calm, 10 year old Goldendoodle, so comfort around dogs is needed.
