FULL-TIME/PART TIME STAFF

Direct Care Staff/Childcare Worker. You would be working in a small group home setting at a residential facility for adolescent boys in foster care with behavioral and emotional needs. You (along with your coworkers) would be responsible for assisting the residents with homework, routine hair/skin care, laundering, cooking, housekeeping, recreation, shopping and transporting. You would also help develop skills, and personal goals, provide support and ensure resident safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain accurate documentation. Obtain information and interpret information in terms of residents. Interact directly with residents. Assist in planning and executing group, program and recreational activities. Serve meals to each resident according to the menu. Supervise residents at all times. Maintain work environments free of recognized hazards/Provide care, welfare, safety and security. Provide transportation to the residents for appointments as needed. Complete a minimum of 50 hours of in-service training hours annually in child care services, excluding first-aid and orientation. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma/ GED. Valid Driver's License- REQUIRED At least 25 years of age. Able to pass federal background checks and a drug test. Must be able to work 5 NIGHTS a week, including weekend days. No experience is necessary. Training will be provided. Must be able to complete all annual training requirements. Interested applicants must be able to attend a 1 to 2 week training class during the week( Monday-Friday) and completed 40 hours of Observation.

Available Shifts:

Shift times are dependent on scheduled days.

Salary:

Once training is completed, ELIGIBLE applicants' starting pay will start at $15 an hour.
