Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home care, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. This role involves working closely with individuals who may have developmental disabilities, dementia, or other health challenges, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patient conditions, including vital signs and overall health status Administer medications following prescribed care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support patients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility support Document patient observations, care provided, and any changes in condition accurately Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans Provide emotional support and companionship to residents or clients, fostering a positive environment Follow all safety protocols including CPR and First Aid procedures to ensure resident safety at all times Requirements Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care preferred Knowledge of patient monitoring, medication administration, and vital signs measurement Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory impairments such as Alzheimer's or dementia is a plus Ability to lift heavy loads safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when required Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare teams Ability to adhere to HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; some positions may require availability during evenings or weekends depending on the setting This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a supportive environment that values compassion, professionalism, and ongoing development.
