As an authorized in-home care provider for the VA, we focus on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care. Summary We are seeking a Nursing Assistant/Caregiver to join our team at Angels Instead. In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients in-home, ensuring they receive the highest level of care in their homes. Your contributions will be vital in promoting their well-being and independence. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to clients. Monitor and document patients' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans. Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Assist with light housekeeping and light yard work Requirements Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is a plus Experience in patient care or long-term care settings preferred. Experience with Autism and Dementia Cases Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. Ability to lift and assist patients safely. Knowledge of medical documentation procedures is a plus.
