Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence. This position requires a caring heart, patience, and the ability to adapt to the unique needs of each client. Duties Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort. Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals. Develop and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs, including those with memory care requirements. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Assist individuals with disabilities, including autism and developmental disabilities, ensuring they receive the appropriate support. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed. Skills Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism and developmental disabilities. Knowledge of long-term care practices and patient monitoring techniques. Ability to create and implement effective care plans that address the specific needs of clients. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing compassionate senior care. Proficiency in assisting clients with daily tasks while encouraging independence. Cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs. Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills are essential for building trust with clients and their families.
