The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including geriatrics, emergency medicine, and inpatient care. This role is crucial in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients as they navigate daily activities. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Help with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary requirements are met. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health conditions. Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote independence. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Document daily activities and any changes in client condition to communicate with healthcare professionals. Skills Experience in geriatrics or related fields is preferred. Ability to assist with mobilization especially desired. Knowledge of emergency medicine practices is beneficial. Familiarity with care procedures in various settings such as outpatient clinics, medical-surgical units, or Level II Trauma Centers. Ability to provide care in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others. Ability to work independently while adhering to care plans and protocols.
