Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or other cognitive impairments
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Administer medications and monitor health conditions as needed
  • Implement care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of clients
  • Engage in meaningful activities and provide companionship to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
  • Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients
  • Assitance with transportation for appointments, errands, or recreational activities
Requirements:
  • Experience in providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or cognitive impairments is preferred
  • Knowledge of home care practices and techniques
  • Familiarity with memory care principles and strategies
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Compassionate and patient nature to provide emotional support to clients
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
