In this vital role, you will create a safe, nurturing environment while promoting growth, development, and well-being. Your dedication will help the Residents of Hilltop Care Home thrive by delivering personalized care that meets their unique needs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in people's lives through attentive caregiving and engaging activities. Shifts We are in need of weekday, evening, overnight and weekend caregivers Duties Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, feeding, toilteting and ambulation. Implement pre-planned activities and exercises throughout the day Prep, prepare and/or serve pre-planned meals Support Residents by assisting with mobility, personal hygiene, and daily tasks Maintain a clean and organized environment in accordance with safety standards and best practices in senior care Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and emotional regulation Communicate effectively with team members to report on progress or concerns Skills Strong knowledge of senior care and caregiving experience Ability to manage behavior effectively while demonstrating patience and empathy Familiarity with working with seniors to support their specific needs Join us in creating a warm, engaging environment where every individual feels valued and supported.
