Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Attendant to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. This vital role involves delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting independence for residents or clients with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will be energetic, attentive, and motivated to make a positive difference in people's lives through attentive caregiving and support. Duties Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition Support residents with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning and sanitation tasks Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to assist with mobility and transfers safely Document patient observations, care activities, and incident reports accurately and promptly Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being Follow all safety protocols including CPR, First Aid, and emergency procedures Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care practices Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in condition or behavior Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and family members Physical stamina for heavy lifting, patient transfers, and long shifts Familiarity with HIPAA compliance to ensure confidentiality of patient information Ability to follow detailed care plans and administer medications accurately Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable Join us in providing compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
