Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Weekend Live-In Caregiver (1099 Independent Contractor) to provide daily assistance and companionship to our clients in a home setting. This role is not an employee position, but rather an independent contractor agreement. The caregiver will reside on the premises and assist with daily living activities, medication reminders and distribution, meal preparation, housekeeping, and companionship while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the client. Daily Care & Support:
Assist clients with personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene, as needed. Medication Management:
Administer prescribed medications and ensure proper documentation. Meal Preparation:
Prepare and serve nutritious breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all residents or distribute pre-prepped meals. Clean up after meals and maintain a sanitary kitchen space Vital Monitoring:
Regularly check and log client vitals to ensure their well-being. Household Duties:
Assist with laundry, housekeeping, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment. Appointment Assistance:
Ensure clients are prepared and ready for medical and personal appointments. Companionship & Engagement:
Provide emotional support, encourage participation in activities, and foster a warm, caring atmosphere. Schedule Adherence:
Follow the outlined daily schedule and assist clients in maintaining a structured routine. Safety & Supervision:
Identify and report maintenance issues, monitor for health concerns, and respond to any emergencies. Conduct regular checks on residents throughout the day and night. Administrative Support:
Answer and direct phone calls, manage visitor interactions, and assist with documentation. Collaboration:
Work under the instruction of the Administrator or Administrative Assistant to ensure high-quality care. Documentation & Communication:
Document daily care notes and incident reports as needed. Relay important updates to weekday staff and management. Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience:
Prior experience as a caregiver, CNA, or home health aide preferred. Certification:
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain). Personality Traits:

Ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility support as needed. Communication Skills:

Must pass a background check and provide references. Basic Cooking Skills:

Pay, Work Hours & Living Arrangements:
Friday 7:00 PM to Sunday 7:00 PM (Live-in, 48-hour weekend shift) $100 per day, Paid bi-weekly ($200 per weekend) Schedule:
Work hours may include daytime and overnight responsibilities, with scheduled breaks and personal time as arranged with the employer. Room & Board Provided:
Private or shared living quarters, utilities, and meals will be included as part of the compensation package. Pay:
