PRN Caregiver - Multiple Shifts

Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a PRN caregiver for multiple shifts to provide compassionate, attentive care during the overnight hours. In this vital role, you will support residents with their daily needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being through personalized care and vigilant supervision. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Monitor residents' vital signs and overall health status during overnight shifts Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's care by implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to document care activities Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suited to residents' dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Ensure a safe environment by performing routine safety checks, cleaning, and adhering to infection control procedures Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of ADLs assistance, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges is advantageous Ability to lift or transfer residents using Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices safely and confidently Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members, residents, and families Valid driver's license preferred for community outings or transportation needs Join us in providing exceptional care that promotes dignity, independence, and comfort for our residents.
