The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents through personalized care and support in both home health and group home settings. Duties Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of residents. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment by maintaining a tidy space and adhering to hygiene standards. Support residents in participating in recreational activities and social events to promote engagement and community involvement. Respect and uphold resident rights while providing patient care in accordance with established protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to ensure comprehensive care for residents. Lift and transfer residents safely as needed, following proper techniques to prevent injury. Document care provided and report any changes in resident conditions to the appropriate personnel. Skills Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring long-term care is preferred. Strong understanding of resident rights and commitment to advocating for their needs. Ability to perform patient care tasks with compassion and respect for individual dignity. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members. Capability to maintain a clean environment while adhering to health regulations. Physical ability to lift and assist residents as required, ensuring their safety during transfers. A nurturing attitude towards working with people of all abilities, fostering an inclusive atmosphere.
