ADLs Driver's License Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Attendant to provide care and support to an individual in our home. We are looking for one shift getting him up and ready on Saturday morning, and one shift putting him in bed Sunday night. All equipment required is available in an easy to move environment. Paid training if needed.

Duties:

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Administer medications as directed by use of a feeding tube system.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment.

Experience:

• Previous experience in assisted living is preferred
• Familiarity with the use of a patient lift and feeding pump is a plus
• Understanding of personal care needs and ability to assist with ADLs
• Experience working with a BIPAP and cough assist is advantageous

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with the client
• Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others While this is a part time position, we will have 2 weeks of full time plus overtime while his regular attendant is on vacation.

We also have respite hours that will be used during the year that can be assigned. We will want this person to take occasional extra time when available. This is a clean, well organized environment in a safe neighborhood. Please submit your resume highlighting your relevant experience.
