Caregiver/PCA

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in memory care, assisted living, and long-term care settings, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, behavioral management techniques, and the ability to drive to various locations as needed. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being. Implement behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Assist with mobility and lifting clients as necessary while ensuring their comfort and safety. Drive clients to appointments or community activities as required. Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in their condition to the supervising staff. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop personalized care plans. Ensure a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Requirements Previous experience in memory care, assisted living, or long-term care is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for transportation duties. Knowledge of direct support services and home community care practices is a plus. Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality personal care.
