Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and health management. This role offers a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships while supporting clients in a comfortable, familiar environment. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be an integral part of the client's well-being, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity at all times. This position is ideal for motivated caregivers eager to make a positive impact through personalized care and attentive support. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' health status, including vital signs and overall condition Administer medications accurately following medical instructions and document medication records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, and hospice care Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to maintain detailed medical documentation and medical records Use medical terminology appropriately when recording patient information or communicating with healthcare professionals Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, Hoyer lift transfers, and vital signs monitoring Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Support clients' emotional well-being through companionship and engaging activities within their home or community setting Maintain compliance with all safety protocols including CPR certification and emergency response procedures Skills Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in health or behavior promptly Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration, and medical documentation standards Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate record keeping Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general Ability to operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and perform catheter care safely Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Compassionate caregiving approach combined with patience and resilience in long-term care settings Ability to handle physically demanding tasks including lifting using Hoyer lifts or assisting with mobility needs Experience in home & community care settings demonstrating adaptability across diverse client needs Join us to make a difference every day by providing heartfelt care that enhances quality of life.
