Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as a Part-Time Caregiver, where your dedication makes a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities and personal care. In this vital role, you will provide attentive, respectful assistance to residents in assisted living, retirement homes, group homes, or home care settings. Your energetic and positive approach will foster a safe, comfortable environment that promotes independence and well-being. This position offers flexible hours perfect for those passionate about caregiving and making a real impact every day. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication activities within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents' health stability Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies to promote safety and comfort Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and common spaces Document care activities thoroughly, including incident reports or behavioral observations, ensuring compliance with facility policies Support residents' transition between different care settings or during outings by providing transportation when qualified to drive Experience Prior experience in long-term care environments such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care is highly valued Demonstrated knowledge of assisting with ADLs and providing personal care in a respectful manner Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral management needs is advantageous Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and medication administration processes Hands-on experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care, including memory care techniques and safety protocols Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond effectively during emergencies Previous roles involving group home or retirement home caregiving provide a strong foundation for success in this position Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to enriching lives through compassionate caregiving. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
