Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate assistance with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional support within clients' homes or community settings. Your energetic and proactive approach will foster independence, safety, and well-being for those in your care. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those managing chronic conditions such as dementia or alzheimer. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Administer medications accurately following care plans while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Support clients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia through memory care techniques and patient observation Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment to promote overall well-being Engage in patient monitoring during home health visits or hospice care, providing emotional support and companionship as part of holistic care Experience Prior experience working in home & community care environments or assisted living facilities is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, alzheimer, or dementia is essential Familiarity with nursing home procedures, hospice care protocols, and long-term care practices will be advantageous Certification in CPR and First Aid is necessary; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or group home experience are a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks is important for supporting mobility needs Previous work involving direct support for residents or patients in settings like nursing homes or hospice environments will strengthen your application Join us in delivering exceptional home-based care that empowers individuals to live healthier, happier lives.
