In-Home Care Provider Tammy Meyer Kyle, TX Job Details Full-time $19 - $20 an hour 22 hours ago Benefits Paid training Qualifications Hospice experience End-of-life care Bathing assistance Meal assistance Patient observation Full Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide full-time support for a 63-year-old woman with Down syndrome in her home. ⭐ The first day of independent 1-on-1 caregiving is Monday, August 3rd. Applicants must be available to begin on this date.
Training:
2-3 days of paid in-home training beginning Wednesday, July 29th.
Hours:
7:00am-4:30pm
Responsibilities:
Assist with dressing and daily routines Prepare simple meals and snacks Participate in crafts, hobbies, and activities Encourage light exercise, including walking Provide companionship and emotional support Transport to community activities such as the library, movies, and parks
Qualifications:
Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred Patient, dependable, and compassionate Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle preferred CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Requirements:
Resume or summary of relevant experience Three references (one personal and two professional) Background check required This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference while helping an individual remain active, engaged, and independent.
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
