Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Provide medication administration following prescribed protocols and monitor vital signs to ensure health stability Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as required Maintain accurate documentation of care activities using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and update resident records regularly Engage residents in social activities and recreational programs to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and common spaces Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of senior care practices including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and long-term care procedures Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications like medication administration or behavior management are advantageous Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring personalized support Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members, residents, and families Valid driver's license for driving residents or supplies when necessary Physical ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and supporting residents safely using equipment such as Hoyer lifts Demonstrated commitment to caregiving with a positive attitude and compassionate approach Join us in creating a caring community where every individual receives the respect and support they deserve.
