Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in healthcare settings such as Level II trauma centers, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or post-acute care. The caregiver will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting overall well-being. Experience in inpatient, outpatient, or clinic environments, especially within geriatrics or medical-surgical units, is highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those needing in-home assistance. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications and monitor health status as directed by healthcare professionals Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to client care Support clients during meal preparation and feeding as needed Observe and report any changes in health conditions or behavior to supervising healthcare providers Coordinate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client progress Qualifications Prior experience in healthcare settings such as Level I Trauma Centers, PICU, Geriatrics, Medical-surgical units, or Post-acute care environments is preferred Experience working in hospital medicine or emergency medicine is advantageous Knowledge of outpatient, clinic, or sub-acute care practices is beneficial Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient-centered care Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans Certification in CPR or First Aid is a plus but not required initially; training can be provided Must possess a valid driver's license if transportation is required for client visits Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours are preferred This role offers a rewarding opportunity for healthcare professionals committed to delivering high-quality home-based care.
