Job Description

Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Personal Care Attendant, where your dedication transforms lives by providing essential support to individuals with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will assist clients with daily activities, ensure their safety, and promote independence in a caring, respectful environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times Monitor patients' health by observing and report any changes or concerns promptly Support medication administration according to care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs and preferences Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and proper infection control procedures Document care activities accurately in care plans and communicate effectively with team members regarding patient status or changes Experience Previous experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care environments is highly desirable Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities enhances your ability to provide specialized support Certifications such as HIPAA training or medication administration are a plus Familiarity with patient observation techniques and patient monitoring protocols Experience with working with individuals with autism or disabilities demonstrates your versatility in caregiving roles Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when necessary for resident transfers or mobility assistance Strong understanding of care plans and social work principles related to long-term care and senior support Join us in delivering compassionate, professional care that enriches lives every day! •Applicants with criminal histories may be considered on a case by case basis, depending on the nature of the offense and the job requirements.•
