Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in healthcare settings such as Level II trauma centers, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or post-acute care. The caregiver will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by delivering attentive, professional assistance tailored to their individual needs. Experience in inpatient, outpatient, or clinic environments, including geriatrics and medical-surgical units, is highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working in a flexible and supportive environment. Duties Provide personal care services including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Support medication management and adherence as prescribed by healthcare professionals. Monitor and report changes in client health status to supervising medical staff or family members. Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to client care, including meal preparation and light cleaning. Facilitate transportation to medical appointments or therapy sessions when necessary. Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being. Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures, especially when working with clients recovering from trauma or illness. Qualifications Prior experience working in Level I Trauma Centers, PICU, Geriatrics, Medical-surgical units, or post-acute care settings is preferred. Experience with hospital medicine, emergency medicine, inpatient or outpatient care, teaching hospitals, or sub-acute care is highly desirable. Strong understanding of clinical procedures relevant to outpatient clinics and post-discharge care environments. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to provide high-quality patient-centered care. Valid certification as an In Home Caregiver or relevant healthcare credentials are preferred but not mandatory depending on state regulations. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional care in a home setting while adhering to all safety standards and healthcare protocols.
