4 Pharr, TX Job Details Full-time From $12 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Nursing home experience Patient monitoring HIPAA Patient care Nursing Full Job Description Monday-Friday 12p-8pm Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, particularly in nursing homes or long-term care facilities, and possess the necessary skills to provide specialized care for individuals with diverse needs. Duties
  • Provide attentive and personalized care to individuals with special needs
  • Assist with patient monitoring and ensure their safety and well-being
  • Administer patient care following established protocols, including dementia care if required
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals tailored to specific dietary requirements
  • Perform lifting and transferring of patients as needed
  • Implement first aid procedures when necessary
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting is preferred
  • Proficiency in patient monitoring and providing specialized care
  • Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting with mobility
  • Certification in first aid is desirable
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations governing patient privacy
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families
