This vital role involves supporting clients with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional well-being, ensuring they live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive approach to caregiving, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance for patient privacy Support clients during meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition tailored to individual dietary needs Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer residents or patients Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning living spaces to maintain a safe and sanitary environment Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior to healthcare professionals promptly Requirements Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior care or individuals with disabilities Certification in First Aid and CPR from recognized organizations; knowledge of HIPAA regulations is essential Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities Ability to lift heavy objects safely and operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and documenting changes accurately in care plans Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients' families and healthcare teams Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for community-based caregiving Currently hiring for Princeton, Plano, Lucas, Allen, and Rockwall areas.
