About the
Couple:
Married nearly 70 years — strong bond, love/hate dynamic, deeply committed Husband (90): advanced dementia, incontinence care, needs patience, calm presence, and steady redirection Wife (88): advancing Alzheimer's, easily frustrated by memory loss, needs companionship, reassurance, and gentle support Couples relationship can become volatile at times — requires excellent redirection and de‑escalation skills Must be able to adapt to the emotional waves of dementia with steadiness and calm
What We Need:
Must live within 30 miles or less (for emergency call‑ins) Non‑smoker only Background check required Reliable transportation ( No Uber, shared rides, etc. ) Comfortable working long 14.5‑hour shifts when needed Emotionally steady, patient, and able to stay calm under pressure Must be good with two small, friendly house dogs Someone who understands dementia or is willing to learn
