In this energetic and rewarding position, you will support residents who are in Child Welfare with their daily activities, promote independence, support and foster a safe and engaging environment. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and dignity Support medication management Help with meal preparation and feeding to meet nutritional needs while respecting individual preferences and dietary restrictions Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards Drive residents for appointments or community outings, ensuring safety at all times Collaborate with Residential Child Care Licensing, resident's primary workers, social workers, and other child welfare professionals to coordinate services and needs for the child Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Assist with educational needs Qualifications Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification upon hire is expected (will train) Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, trauma, intellectual disabilities, and autism (Highly recommended, will train) Must be 21 yrs of age Must be able to pass an FBI fingerprint background check Strong caregiving skills with compassion, patience, and excellent communication abilities Valid ID Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join us in creating a caring community where every individual receives the attention they deserve!
