As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care and support in various settings, including assisted living facilities and home health environments. Your commitment to resident rights and well-being will be paramount in this rewarding position. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health by taking vital signs. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity. Help clients with mobility and physical activities while promoting independence. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to safety protocols. Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding any changes in client condition. Uphold resident rights and ensure the privacy and confidentiality of all client information. Experience Previous experience in patient care, home health, or assisted living environments is preferred. Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities, including developmental disabilities, is a plus. Familiarity with first aid practices and emergency response procedures is beneficial. A strong understanding of medication administration protocols is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients are crucial for success in this role.
