Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Spanish Speaking/Bilingual Personal Assistant Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities. In this vital role, you will promote independence, ensure safety, and enhance the quality of life for those you serve. Your energetic approach and attentive nature will make a meaningful difference in their everyday experiences. This paid position offers an opportunity to work closely with clients in various settings, including private homes, assisted living facilities, and community environments. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs, patient observations, and overall health status to ensure well-being Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations Support clients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts, ensuring safe handling during heavy lifting or transfers Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of living spaces Provide companionship and emotional support while engaging clients in social activities or recreational pursuits Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments Knowledge of patient care techniques including Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental disabilities Certified in CPR and First Aid; familiarity with hospice care protocols is a plus Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition or behavior Ability to work independently or as part of a team within group home settings or community-based programs Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members while respecting patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Physical stamina for activities involving heavy lifting and assisting with mobility needs Join us if you're passionate about making a positive impact through dedicated caregiving! Pay:
