• She has recently lost her husband and needs more than just a "sitter", she needs a self-starter who can provide deep emotional support, engagement + safety!

You have at least 1+ year of caregiving experience (Dementia care experience is highly preferred) You are looking for a consistent Sunday 12-hour shift (with the heart to fill in when needed) You are willing and able to take her to Church on Sundays (an essential part of client's week) You have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle + active insurance

Sundays Church Attendance:

Accompanying her to Sunday services to maintain her vital community connections (this is VERY important to the client)•

The Role:

Proactive & Engaging Care Meaningful Activity:

Lead her in puzzles, coloring, and reading aloud

Nature & Mobility:

Enjoy wheelchair walks and sun exposure (weather permitting)

Proactive Nutrition:

Utilize the smoothie maker and kitchen tools to keep her hydrated and fueled ( don't wait for her to ask! )

Emotional Support:

Provide gentle engagement and comfort following her recent loss, ensuring she feels heard but not overstimulated

Full ADL Support:

Assist with all personal care, hygiene, and 24/7 safety supervision
