Direct Care Staff - Residential Treatment Center Trinity Guidance RTC Rosenberg, TX Job Details Full-time $15.50 - $16.00 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Teamwork Writing skills High school diploma or GED Direct support Performing background checks Full Job Description Available Monday's Through Friday's and weekends As a Direct Care Staff member at Trinity Guidance Treatment Center, you'll play a critical role in creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children and adolescents. You'll be part of a team that prioritizes emotional well-being, consistency, and respect , and your presence will directly support the growth and stability of each resident. This role is ideal for calm, responsible individuals who value meaningful work and are comfortable maintaining routines, setting boundaries, and offering positive guidance to youth.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage with youth in daily activities while ensuring safety and structure Support children in maintaining routines (meals, hygiene, chores, bedtime) Lead or assist with group activities that promote social skills, creativity, or self-regulation Maintain a calm, supportive environment, using de-escalation and trauma-informed approaches Observe and document behaviors, moods, and progress accurately and consistently Monitor room checks, transitions, and activities with attentiveness and professionalism Provide transportation or accompany children to appointments or outings as needed Collaborate with clinical and leadership staff to support each child's care plan Uphold all licensing, safety, and confidentiality standards
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED required Must be 21+ years of age (per state regulation) Strong sense of responsibility, consistency, and emotional maturity Comfortable working in a team environment with children who have experienced trauma Clear communication and basic writing/documentation skills Ability to pass background checks and complete required training Must pass TB Test and Drug Test Prefer CPI training
