Job Description

About House of Eli House of Eli is a 501(c)(3) faith-based ministry dedicated to serving young men ages 18-21 who are exiting foster care, the juvenile justice system, or who are experiencing homelessness. We provide a Christ-centered home, transitional living support, vocational training, and life-skills education to help our residents build healthy, independent lives. Position Overview We're looking for a part-time team member who loves people, stays organized, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed. This role blends direct care, educational support, encompasses admissions and intakes, and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities Direct Client Care & Education Provide tutoring, academic support, and encouragement to residents. Assist residents with technology needs, online coursework, and vocational training tools. Support residents in developing life skills, healthy routines, and personal responsibility. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the home and programs. Uphold the mission, values, and faith-based culture of House of Eli. Admissions & Administrative Duties Manage the admissions and intake process, including interviews, documentation, and onboarding. Maintain accurate resident files, records, and program documentation. Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and provide general office support. Assist with scheduling, communication, coordination, and transportation to resident appointments. Qualifications A personal commitment to Christian faith and alignment with the mission of House of Eli. Experience working with youth or young adults, especially those from trauma-impacted backgrounds, preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to tutor high school-level coursework and support basic technology use. Reliable, flexible, and able to maintain healthy boundaries and professionalism. Must pass background checks, have a valid driver's license, and meet all program safety requirements.
Schedule Part-time:
