Home Service, Live- in Caregiver/Nanny Sugar Land, TX Job Details Full-time $14 - $17 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications CPR Certification Confidential information handling Driver's License Home care First Aid Certification Food preparation Full Job Description Job Summary Seeking a reliable, compassionate, and patient Live-in Caregiver/Nanny to assist in a family foster home in Sugar Land, TX. This position is for someone who enjoys working with children and can help maintain a safe, clean, structured, and nurturing home environment. The children are school-age and are usually away from home during the day, approximately 6 AM to 3-4 PM . Most active work is before and after school, in the evenings, and on some weekends as needed. Some cooking, laundry, light housekeeping, and home organization may be needed during the day.
Live-in benefits:
Private room and meals provided. Main Duties Help children get ready for school in the morning Prepare simple meals and snacks Provide after-school and evening supervision Assist with laundry, light housekeeping, and organizing children's areas Help maintain a calm, respectful, and safe home environment Support children with daily routines, homework reminders, hygiene, and bedtime routine Communicate clearly with the parent/guardian Follow household rules, safety expectations, and confidentiality requirements Be dependable, patient, kind, and professional Requirements Experience caring for children preferred Experience with foster children, behavioral needs, or special needs is a plus Must be patient, responsible, trustworthy, and emotionally mature Must be willing to complete background checks and any required foster-care clearance/training Must provide references Must be able to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries Non-smoker preferred Driver's license preferred CPR/First Aid preferred or willing to obtain Must be comfortable working in a family home setting
Schedule/Hours:
Live-in position. 40 hours a week. Pay to be discussed based on experience. Private room and meals are provided.
Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
