CNA Geriatrics Full Job Description Title:
Specialized Live-In Female Caregiver (3.5-Day Shift) - LBD & COPD - Alexandria VA Seeking two experienced female caregivers (BFOQ) for an 86-year-old female in a private Alexandria residence (22310).
Split-shift:
3.5 days on / 3.5 days off. High-acuity position requiring clinical competence and calm, structured approach. Resident has Lewy Body Dementia, severe emphysema/COPD, high fall risk, and requires full ADL assistance including hands-on toileting. Must be knowledgeable about LBD medication sensitivities. Experience with oxygen equipment required. Non-smoker mandatory. CNA/HHA preferred or 5+ years documented dementia experience. Private bedroom, full board, high-speed Wi-Fi provided. Salary $1,000-$1,200/week. Start date June 2026.
Pay:
