Overnight Shift Adolescent Direct Care Counselor

S.T.A.R.S.

is a group home for teens. We currently have immediate openings for full-time overnight Adolescent Direct Care Counselors. Duties include but are not limited to: actively and enthusiastically supervising the residents, teaching independent living and social skills, problem solving, crisis management, providing behavior support, documentation, and being positive role models. We have the following shifts available: 1. Wednesdays through Fridays 12am-8:30am, Saturdays 12am-12pm (36 hrs/week) 2. Sundays 12am-12pm, Mondays through Wednesdays 12am-8:30am (36 hrs/week) In order to be considered, applicants must be over 21, have a high school diploma, have at least six months paid or volunteer experience working with children or teens (having your own children does not meet this requirement), be able to pass a background check, and have an enthusiastic attitude. College degree in human services field, psychology, or related field preferred but not required.
