Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and health management. This role offers the unique opportunity to live on-site, fostering a close, trusting relationship with clients while ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Duties Provide comprehensive assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, managing medication administration, and documenting medical records accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Assist with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices safely and effectively Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support patients during emergencies by executing CPR when necessary and understanding medical terminology for effective communication with healthcare professionals Document all patient interactions and medical information meticulously to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare standards Qualifications Proven experience in senior care, home health, assisted living or long-term care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and medical documentation practices Certifications such as CPR/AED are required; additional certifications like hospice care or catheter care are a plus Experience working with the elderly is highly desirable Ability to work independently in a live-in setting while maintaining professionalism and compassion Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and family members Join us in delivering heartfelt care that truly makes a difference!
