Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living support. In this vital role, you will foster a warm, respectful environment while ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of those under your care. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will help enhance the quality of life for residents or clients across various care settings. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through attentive caregiving and support. Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, medication administration, and overall condition updates Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs in accordance with care plans Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation tasks Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to assist with mobility and transfers safely Document observations, care activities, and any changes in condition accurately while adhering to HIPAA privacy regulations Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and social engagement Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Familiarity with patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and developing or following individualized care plans Hands-on experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is advantageous Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience with heavy lifting, using Hoyer lifts, and working within long-term care settings demonstrates readiness for this role Strong communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, social workers, families, and residents Join us as a Compassionate Caregiver to bring comfort, dignity, and joy into the lives of those you serve. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
