Job Description

Personal Care Aide (PCA) -
Northern Virginia Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, PRN Overview Evergreen Health Care Management is one of the fastest-growing home care agencies in Northern Virginia. We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to provide quality in-home care services to elderly and disabled individuals throughout our service area. As a PCA, you will play an important role in helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life while remaining safely in their homes. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance. Prepare meals according to client preferences and dietary needs. Provide companionship and emotional support. Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment. Accompany clients to appointments or community activities when authorized. Provide medication reminders when appropriate. Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team. Accurately complete Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) documentation using a smartphone. Follow all company policies, client care plans, and HIPAA confidentiality requirements. Qualifications PCA Certificate is required for employment. Applicants who do not currently hold a PCA Certificate may qualify for Evergreen's
FREE PCA
Certification Program. Candidates without a PCA Certificate must successfully complete Evergreen's 40-hour PCA Training Course before being eligible for client assignments. Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required. Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely when needed. Ability to use a smartphone for EVV and communication purposes. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Social Security Card. PCA Certificate (unless enrolled in Evergreen's PCA Certification Program). TB Test completed within the past 12 months. Current driver's license. Reliable transportation.
