Company Overview Heart Matters Home Health Care is a dedicated non-medical home health care agency serving the Northern Virginia area. We specialize in providing compassionate care for elderly clients, individuals with disabilities, and those in need of respite or companionship services. Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and compassionate In Home Caregiver to support clients within their residences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home and community care, with a focus on enhancing quality of life through personalized assistance. This role involves delivering comprehensive support to clients by assisting with daily activities, monitoring health status, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Provide patient observation to monitor health changes and report any concerns promptly. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences. Support medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and organization. Follow care plans meticulously, documenting observations and updates to ensure continuity of care. Requirements Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in Alzheimer's, dementia, or hospice care is preferred. Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Demonstrated reliability, compassion, and patience in caregiving roles. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
