Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Sponsored Residential Provider, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and other behavioral health needs. This rewarding position involves creating a safe, nurturing environment that promotes independence, growth, and well-being. As a key member of our residential care team, you will provide personalized assistance to help residents thrive in their home and community settings. Your energy, compassion, and commitment will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. Responsibilities Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and social skills development Assist residents with communication needs, including proficiency in American Sign Language when applicable Support residents in engaging with community activities and maintaining social connections Collect and document data related to residents' progress, health status, and behavioral patterns accurately and consistently Administer medications following prescribed protocols and ensure proper documentation Drive residents to appointments, activities, or community outings safely and responsibly Collaborate with families, social workers, educators, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and ensure comprehensive support Skills Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism in residential or community settings Knowledge of special education principles and behavioral health practices Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Proficiency in behavioral management techniques to support positive outcomes Ability to handle medication administration accurately and responsibly Home and community care experience that demonstrates adaptability and compassion Familiarity with data collection methods for tracking progress and reporting purposes Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for safe transportation duties Experience in caregiving or childcare roles that involve assisting children or adults with disabilities This position offers an engaging opportunity to make a lasting impact while working in a supportive environment that values your dedication.
