What does a Live-In Angel Care Specialist position entail? Provide assistance with ADLs and iADLs to our clients, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation to & from appointments (typically in our client's vehicle), assist with errands, and warm, friendly companionship. Separate sleeping quarters & bathroom arranged while working on live-in cases. Meals provided Earn approximately $1,628 a week ( based on hourly rate ) as a Live-In Care Specialist! Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent PCA (personal care aide), Nurse Aide Course Completion Certificate, or CNA (certified nursing assistant) license Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year) preferred Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day Auto Insurance Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends Willingness to enforce health and safety standards Supportive and compassionate Take pride in providing high quality care Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client) Caregiver Benefits Incentive Retention Program Referral Bonus Program Offers Tela-doc services Offers FREE Continuing Education Units valid towards maintaining your certification and furthering your education Aflac plans available Visiting Angels requires ALL caregivers to pass a state-mandated criminal background check, reference check, and drug screen.
