This position is essential for enhancing the quality of life for residents by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. The PCA will work closely with clients who may have developmental disabilities or require assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). Duties Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing to ensure they maintain dignity and comfort. Support residents in performing daily living activities, including eating, bathing, and mobility. Assist with medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and resident rights. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following hygiene standards and cleaning protocols. Skills Strong understanding of resident rights and the ability to advocate for their needs. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of ADLs and the ability to assist residents effectively. Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients at all times. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations while providing consistent care.
