Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve by delivering personalized care with kindness, professionalism, and enthusiasm. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness, while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. Your efforts will help promote independence, safety, and well-being for our clients across home health, assisted living, memory care, and long-term care facilities. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature regularly Support medication administration following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for privacy and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Conduct patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior and report findings promptly to healthcare professionals Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and laundry Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's for safe transfers and mobility assistance Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and facility policies Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive atmosphere for residents or clients Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet each individual's unique needs Requirements Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, home health, hospice care, or group homes is highly preferred Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are advantageous Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, memory care strategies, autism spectrum disorder support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks throughout shifts Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing urgent health issues Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others through direct support and caregiving services Join us today if you're passionate about making a positive impact through dedicated caregiving!
