PCA- Part Time

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant/ Certified Nursing Aide to provide essential support to patients in a homecare setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and using a hoyer lift, along with the ability to deliver high-quality patient care. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting healthcare professionals in delivering effective personal care services.

Schedules:

Case 1: Monday-Friday 1:30-5:30p Case 2: Wednesday 8a-6pm & Saturday 11a-5pm Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Medication reminder Provide emotional support and companionship to patients Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene protocols. Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient status and any changes observed. Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with facility policies. Requirements Previous experience in a homecare setting, at least one year. Current CPR/BLS certificate Negative TB test results Clean background check Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with patients and their families. Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. This position requires individuals who are committed to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve while ensuring safety and comfort in all interactions.

Pay:

Up to $20.00 per hour
